You must connect to a personal computer to be able to store the output as it is just a flash memory, but by attaching the included USB cord you can view the recorded material through conventional software applications.

Miniature surveillance devices such as the keychain camera are able to operate alone without any external power sources or drivers. Due to this flexibility, you can record results within almost every environment and not be worried about cables or other attachments.

Don’t expect a keychain camera to give you perfect high-resolution imagery and note that you are using it for a specific purpose. The output is quite reasonable, however as the camera records at 29 frames per second and its video resolution is set at 640×480. If you are looking for very high quality output you probably need to select a regular camera, but remember your purpose.

Choose wisely when you are selecting a hidden camera contained within an everyday item. There is a great deal of choice and you should be able to find something for every conceivable environment. Don’t be tempted to choose an illuminated “exit” sign hidden camera if you are going to use it within your home, as these are only seen in public places and would be sure to arouse suspicion!
