Are credit cards out there solely to try and put people into debt or do they have their uses, more importantly, could you do without a credit card in your life or not??

 

Of course there are many positives of owning a credit card and it would seem the biggest one is protection. Protection is the big one when it comes to credit cards simply because they are just so good at helping you out, if you are buying something online and you perhaps get cheated out of money then the credit card protects you.

 

One of the other big wins of having a credit card is the fact that it can be used all over the world and will come in very useful in an emergency in any international country.

 

There are also a lot of people out there that cannot stand credit card companies as they feel that they are responsible for putting people into debt. If there is someone that takes the credit card to the max and then not pay it off in time what do you expect the company to do, nothing?? Of course if you are going to not pay it back the interest is going to soar, what do you expect!. Then once the bill has been paid, people have to go after credit cards for people with bad credit to once again improve credit score.

 

The thing is that more often than not people simply shift blame onto credit card companies when it is not their fault and this is really not acceptable. If you do have bad credit there are plenty of credit cards for poor credit out there that will help you slowly build the rating up again.
